Foss Creek Revegetation Project

The Foss Creek Restoration Project in Healdsburg has benefited from over 107 volunteers committing over 1100 hours to restoring Foss Creek this year! We are making great progress on our efforts to remove non-native invasive plants species that reduce habitat for native wildlife and fish and increase flood risks by reducing channel capacity.We need volunteers for this continuing project. We will provide tools, gloves and training so you can make a difference for Foss Creek. Funding for this project is provided by a grant from the City of Healdsburg and proceeds from the Healdsburg Wild Steelhead Festival. We start at 8:30 a.m. and work until 11:00a.m. and meet along Foss Creek at North Street.

Our next scheduled work days are July 3,17, 31 and August 21st from 8:30-11 a.m. Questions? Call 433-1958.

Russian Riverfest- Save the Date! Saturday, September 25th at Burke's Canoe Trips in Forestville,CA.

Time: 4:30-7:30

Tickets on sale online in July for $20/advance, $25 at door, students $10, age 12 and under free.

Come enjoy a gourmet BBQ, organic wine and beer tasting,live music by The Cahoots, a silent auction and kids activites.
