20th Annual Russian Riverfest

Thanks to all for a great Riverfest!!!!

We were very pleased to have such a wonderful crowd at our Riverfest this past Saturday! We enjoyed beautiful weather, amazing music by the jazz trio, a delicious local & organic meal and great company under the redwoods along the banks of the River.

We also presented the following Environmental Awards to:

Riverkeeper Volunteer of the Year Award: Patty Mohar
Marty Griffin Friend of the River Award: Russian River Watershed Cleanup Committee
Business Stewardship Award: Marmot
Lifetime Achievement Award: Alan Levine

Marty Griffin presents the Friend of the River Award to the Russian River Watershed Clean Up Committee.

Thanks to Chef Mike Matson of Vintage Valley Catering for cooking up quite a feast with the fresh organic veggies that were donated by Tierra, Green String and Oak Hill Farms, along with the local meats donated by Big John's Market. Refreshing libations were also enjoyed thanks to Lagunita's Brewery and wineries Sky Saddle, Michel Schlumberger, Verge, Porter Creek and Inman Family.

Thanks also to all of the sponsors and volunteers who helped to make the Riverfest possible, and to Burke's Canoes for the venue!
